For homework, practice joining the meeting before Tuesday. You can join the meeting although likely no one else will be there.

Extra Credit:
Coordinate with a friend to join the TFS Zoom Meeting at the same time. It’s more fun to be social! Be aware that other people in this pilot group might join at the same time.

This is your home for Week 3. This is for the class held on August 6. Please complete the homework before our August 13 session.
The online lessons found in the Learning Center App provide both a video and written guide to topics that we have covered in class. You will find the video at the top of the lesson and the written guides and instructions below.
- Review the steps to Summon Alexa. If there are any challenges with this, review the Learning Center lesson, Lesson 1 – Summoning Alexa
- Review the printed document “Our Favorite Alexa Commands” and pick 8 commands to try. If you would like more information about these commands, review the video and materials for the Learning Center Lesson, Lesson 2 – Essential Alexa Commands

Extra Credit: Place your tablet on the stand on a counter or table. Charge it as necessary. Ask Alexa questions in passing every day. For example:

◦“What day is it?”
◦“Whose birthday is it today?”

- Explore with the maps app
- Launch the Maps app.
- Use the Search bar to search for your childhood city or town.
- Use drag, pinch and expand to find the location of your childhood home.
- Tap the Menu and Satellite to switch to the satellite view.
- Use drag, expand to view the satellite image of your childhood home.
- Have fun looking around the neighborhood.
- Restore the normal map view by tapping Menu, Satellite to remove the checkmark.
Have great fun with the Maps apps while practicing your tablet skills. And most importantly:
