Why are there 2 apps which seem to do the same thing?

There are currently 2 TFS applications on your tablet because of a couple of limitations in each.

First, the Student Application currently allows an embedded link to an tablet application to be started, for example the ZOOM session. Unfortunately, the Student App doesn’t currently support landscape more, which is a disadvantage for viewing some of the training material.

Second, although the Links for Seniors Application doesn’t support the embedded link capability like the Student app does, the Links for Seniors supports landscape mode which makes some of the training material more readable.

However, both apps contain all the same information so you can use either for exploration with these limitations in mind. Our goal is to try to move to the Student app format as soon as it supports Landscape mode on the tablet; this has been confirmed as a stated direction for that software.
