DOC – DOCUMENTATION TOOLS
This is a list of Documentation to help operate and manage the TFS website.
A couple of “quick start” comments.
- Refer to DOC – Admin Tools for information about tools to help maintain things.
- Quick Edit (available when the Yoast plugin is activated) provides an fast and easy way to adjust Categories and Tags.
- The Spark tag controls what is displayed. The original intent was to change this periodically to match our current learning communities interests. Consider using this instead of changing the community lesson plans. Great for answering a question (that’s why we tried to put so many topics).
- Redirection is a powerful tool. Don’t overuse it, but it can be an excellent short term fix.
- All site documentation has “DOC – ” as a prefix to the post name.
- All locally developed “tools” such as queries, etc. have “TFS – ” as a prefix to the post name.
- If you see something that should be changed – go for it, but let everyone know. All Community News is good for that.
- There are a few php code blocks used. It would be use to move them into the functions.php file.
- NOTE that post tables may have a row limit attached to them to improve performance. If you don’t see what you are looking for, check that first (it is in a box above the table)
